BMW 188K Diff Rebuild Kit (1998-2006)

This is a full genuine rebuild kit containing everything needed to build a new blueprinted BMW 188K differential. For vehicles up to approx 2006 which use tapered roller bearings. The kit doesn't fit the 188L/LW diffs with ball bearings. This includes E38, E39 and E46 323i, 325i, 330ci, 530i, 535i, 730i and 735i. The kit includes:

• 3x genuine seals
• 4x bearings
• crush sleeve
• lock plate
• drain plug washer

The 188K/188L/188LW 14 piece shim kit is not included, but this would be required if you are changing the ring and pinion, or adding an LSD. You could not re-assemble the diff without a shim kit if you're using non-original internals. Your pre-loads and backlash will be way off target, and you risk permanent damage to the differential. No locally sourced Chinese made seals are stocked or supplied at Diff Lab.
