BMW 168LW Diff Rebuild Kit (2006-current)
This is a full rebuild kit containing everything needed to fully rebuild the BMW 168L/LW differential. This kit fits differentials from most 4 cylinder vehicles which use ball bearings. Use this kit for most late model 1-series, 2-series and 3-series BMWs with the common diff bearing failure. This includes most E81, E82, E87, E88, F21, F21, F22, F45, F46, E90, F30, 116i, 118i, 118d, 120i, 318i and 320i vehicles with the ball bearing type differential.
These differentials often suffer noise, differential failure and bearing failure. Now it's possible to fix your noisy 168L/LW sized diff. This is a much better option versus a used differential which may not last, and is often cheaper too. Diff Lab rebuilds these diffs in-house and offers these diffs on exchange. This is the most complete kit available anywhere in the world, and it is the cheapest 100% genuine kit available. Unlike other ball bearing kits which use counterfeit bearings, this kit will not fail after a couple of months.

A 168K and 168L/LW shim kit is not included, and is generally not needed for 168LW ball bearing differentials. No locally sourced Chinese made seals are stocked or supplied for these. Only OEM and genuine seals are used and supplied.
Customers should be aware of the low pre-load required when setting up ball bearing differentials. Setting pre-load too high will cause almost immediate failure of the differential.
