This is the 105mm journal-to-journal unit. It suits E36, E30 and E21 168mm differentials.

This is a 168mm LSD unit (not whole diff) to fit E30 and E36 316i, 318i, 318is and some 320i models (if fitted with a 168mm diff). It can be fitted to E21 and 2002 diffs. Fitment notes below. It is a 2-way configuration with 25% / 25% lockup.

Good physical and operational condition. A very significant improvement in cornering speed and general performance. A must-have for track-day cars, club days and enthusiasts. For competitive racing, a 188mm differential should be used instead. If you have over 200HP at the wheels, the 188mm differential should be used.

The 168mm LSD comes in two different offsets, and a third narrow type for very early 2002 differentials. Stock levels of the three different units is inconsistent as they are all rare units. It is always best to contact us before ordering to ensure the correct LSD is available for your application.

These LSDs are fully rebuilt, cleaned, inspected and oiled. Units have new aftermarket clutches fitted. Worn components have been replaced, steel surfaces machined where necessary. Old bearings have usually been removed. These are ready to be installed and backed by a warranty against workmanship.
